Sokuto Keage (SOE-KOO-TOE-KAY-AH-GEH)

Instructions:

Look and point your arms in the direction that you will be kicking. From that point everything is the same on the set up. From the folded position raise the knee higher and to the side. When the knee reaches stomach level, pivot the foot to the forty-five degree angle and snap the kick out and back. Your kicking hip should roll forward, with the heel higher that the toes. The kicking heel should be slightly behind the kicking hip. Next, retract the entire leg back to folded position and place the foot on the floor.

Again, remember to use a chair to allow for you to concentrate on proper form and conditioning of muscles.
