Instructions:

First, transition by turning the foot on the side you will be starting with inward to the forty-five degree angle. Next, bend the striking arm at the elbow and place it in front of your chest. It should form a V position between the hand, elbow and shoulder. The elbow is centered below the chin, and the palm of the striking hand is turned inward toward the collarbone. Extend the fist forward, stopping it in front of the nose and bending the wrist. The fore knuckles should strike the bridge of the nose. Return the arm to the bent position. Perform several on one side and then switch and try the other side. Remember that the striking arm maintains a slight bend at the elbow at full extension; this will protect the elbow from hyper extending.
